We are talking here about 500 employees losing their jobs in London, Ontario after Caterpillar decided to shut down its locomotive plant.
500 employees, 500 families, between 1,500 / 2,000 people affected directly and so many more affected indirectly.
How is the community responding? how will they pay their mortgages? groceries?
There is no easy answer to a complex situation.
